Prototyping methods

I use many different prototyping tools and methods in the early discovery phase of a project.

Some wireframes are static discriptions of content and interaction, while others are interactive. The interactive prototypes are often built in a process I developed using Excel workbooks.

("Effective Prototyping With Excel", Nevin Berger, Michael Arent, Jonathan Aronwitz, Fred Sampson, Morgan Kaufmann / Elsevier, 2009).

I use whatever application that best serves the process and client, whether it is Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or sticky notes.
